What is MIZ-LOU?
MIZ-LOU is a grassroots effort assisting Mizzou Athletics to generate Tiger Fund gifts in the St. Louis metro area.
What is the purpose of the MIZ-LOU Tiger Fund Program?
The Tiger Fund program was introduced based on the changing landscape in college athletics and the new programs and opportunities available to universities and student-athletes in Missouri. Tiger Funds allow those that are passionate about Mizzou Athletics to directly invest in our success by supporting marketing programs for Mizzou student-athletes.
Are my donations tax deductible?
- Gifts to the Tiger Fund earn Tiger Scholarship Fund priority points, and may be tax-deductible.
- We highly recommend that each donor speaks and/or confirms their deductibility with his/her tax professional.
How do I know where my money is going?
100% of the proceeds donated to MIZ-LOU through the Tiger Scholarship Fund go towards supporting Mizzou Athletics.
Can I designate what sport or which player I want my money to go to?
- No. We encourage our donors to trust in our process of disbursement of Tiger Funds.
- However, if there is a particular “sports program” that you would like to support, you will have the option to do so during the checkout process.
Are all Mizzou sports programs and student-athletes included with the Tiger Fund?
The efforts of the Tiger Fund are focused on benefitting the student-athletes of all sports programs within the University of Missouri’s athletic department.
